Get Smart

Brilliant as! There's not that many adaptations that are done properly. Get Smart had already been made into 2 movies (one that was released at the cinemas in 1980 which bombed, 2nd one was a TV movie) but modernising the movie was brilliant. Steve Carell does a great Maxwell Smart, Anne Hathaway is a strict 99, and Alan Arkin steals the limelight as Chief.

Highly recommended.

Coldplay sounds creaky

Taken from the "you've ripped me off!" files:

US bedroom band Creaky Boards are accusing multi-million-heard-around-the-world band Coldplay of ripping off their song.

To prove their point, Creaky Boards posted a video on youtube, which I've ripped off and posted somewhere else.

I'm sensing deja vu with this.

Over a period of 18 months, Isobella Jade used Apple's New York store to run her business, without them knowing.

The radio offices of Sydney's 2UE had to be evacuated because of a fire that started in the Dick Smith Electronics store in Greenwich that sits below them.

For possibly the first time in years, a bulletin for 2UE has never made it to air.

I don't blame them for demanding a $****** figure sum to do more episodes. It's the 20th season and to do a show like this would be a burden! Plus it's FOX's cash cow. They've made billions from the show that just doesn't seem to end.

What a totally excellent amazing discovery - NOT!

Mike Myers and Dana Carvey dusted off their old characters Wayne Campbell and Garth Elgar for the 2008 MTV Movie Awards.

It's been 14 years since they've done it.

Could it be a hint they may make Wayne's World 3 from public pressure? Could it reignite Dana Carvey's career?
