Hancock

This movie proves that you can pull a crowd that has an A lister on the front, even when it is a bit of a weak movie.
To me, it felt like a drama trying to be a comedy. Some unexplained questions popped up, but the CGI is amazing. Also seeing Jason Bateman and Charlize Theron paired up reminded me of Arrested Development days.
3/5, but Charlize is hot so 3.5/5

Wiping out - Wipeout style

I can't stand reality shows, but Wipeout has won me over. It's a modern version of It's A Knockout.. but still missing that Billy Jay Smith feeling.
Jill Wagner is hot as.
Now there's an Aussie version that'll be made towards the end of the year.
Sign up to go to Argentina!

Batman: The Dark Knight

Pure brilliance.
I'm comfortable to say that the late Heath Ledger is way better than Jack Nicholson as The Joker.
Lots of action, excitement, suspense, adventure etc... 2 and 1/2 hours of pure entertainment. Worth the hype.
5/5

Big Brother no more
Thank fuck it's over!

Australia's version of Big Brother has been axed.
This year, the show has cost Channel 10 nearly $30 million in production costs. When the housemates are meant to be secluded away from the public, this year they've had Party cockhead Corey Worthington, Hypnotist Peter Powers, flamboyant gay icon Carson Kressley, and Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson all "intrude" into the house to pick up flailing ratings, as well as changing the hosts to Kyle and Jackie O from Gretel Kileen.
The shithouse reality show that's been running for 8 years has finally hit the wall... and it's all over now.
Time to put on more shit reality shows... great.

Get This Shit Off The Air!
The short-lived 34 minute-viewed Doug Mulray's Naughtiest Home Videos may get a rescreening 16 years after it was first shown and pretty much would never see the light of day again.

Actual news link
This could pay off for Ch 9. I'd definitely would watch it again!
Oh.. and now that Kerry Packer has been cold in the ground for 3 years and counting..

He's Fallen Over!
... and I've just realised the last few posts I've had a title with an exclamation mark on the end.
Here's some entertaining stuff for you (if you're in Oz)
1) Wipeout! on Channel 9. The first show I'm actually going to watch on this channel this year (other than Hole In The Wall). First episode here. It's an American updated version of Takeshi's Castle.
2) After screening Season 1 and 2 on Foxtel, and the release of Season 1 on DVD (season 2 is out August), Dexter is finally on Free-to-air TV, on Channel 10. Sunday nights. After Rove.
3) Someone has done the best thing in the world and posted up an episode of Australia's classic show It's A Knockout!
Intro
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
Part 5
Part 6
Part 7
That'll keep you occupied for a few hours.

Solo Man... fuck yeah!
While doing some research on YouTube for work (honest!) I came across this ye olde commercial for Solo.
The first 5 seconds reminds me of Trey Parker.
Listen to the voice (obviously it's not him.. but it's funny as)

Any livelier and a funeral will break out!
Some funerals these days are getting a rapid make-over.
Musical make-over that is.
Instead of the sad and depressing ballads you would usually play at a funeral, some people are actually opting to go a more humourous way when they kick the bucket.
Some songs like AC/DC's Highway To Hell, Led Zeppelin's Stairway To Heaven, and other similar themed songs are being used.
Personally, I would love to have these songs played at mine.
