It's quoting time!
Shameless plug for me... a quote of mine that I posted on another website made it into a promo on Channel 9.
I thought it looked familiar :)
Quote and website here - TVTonight.
BTW, The show - Secret Diary Of A Call Girl - is awesome!

Sit Down Shut Up
Extremely talented creator of Arrested Development - Mitch Hurwitz, has taken the failed Australian comedy sitcom "Sit Down Shut Up" (starring Stephen Curry and Marg Downey) and turned it into an animated comedy.

Teaser 3
I thought - "Yeah, it's not too bad..", until I watched Teaser 4 and saw who is actually in it.
Sounding more promising!

Upside down feeling
A new tourist attraction in Germany has got tourists reaching for the bucket as the "upside down house" makes people feel nauseous while exploring the inside.

It's not the first time a house has been built like this as there are similar ones in Spain, America and Poland.

Music wonders or tragedies
The conversation of "what song that is considered terrible by todays standards but I'm proud to admit I still like it" comes up a fair bit at my work (which reeks of irony and hypocrisy at the same time), has prompted me - the blogger - to put together a neverending list of songs which I can freely admit I have either:
* On CD
* On mp3
So get these into you.
Mel & Kim - Respectable
Unfortunate that Mel had passed away in 1990, take a close look at the free-flowing breasts that bounce amazingly infront of you. Must love 1987 fashion.
Cut'N'Move - Give It Up
It's amazing what you can do with a white/blue screen and a fancy animated flower border to make it look like you paid more than $200 for someone to toggle the on/off switch in the studio. Gotta love the Dutch. Plus - what's the go with the 'silent' 2nd girl? Probably thinking about how KC and the Sunshine Band would be pissed off.
AB Logic - The Hitman
1993 is the era where.. actually..
I've got nothing. It's just freakin' catchy.
Twenty 4 Seven - Slave To The Music
Again with the Dutch! Can't get enough of the denim.. hmm denim.
Last but not least -
Grandmaster Chicken & D.J. Duck - Check Out The Chicken
I quote:
"...Gotta wiggle when you walk, gotta giggle when you talk..."
Say no more??
You got some?

Dexter & Californication
I managed to track down the first episode of Dexter Season 3, and I can say it does not disappoint.
They've picked up where they left off from Season 2. It makes you wonder how long Dexter can still get away with his doings... maybe all falls apart in Season 3, maybe not.
Californication Season 2 is off to a great start, where once again, picks up exactly where Season 1 finished.
More nudity, swearing, drug usage - all of TV taboo is right there within the first 2 episodes.
Keep it going Showtime. You're knocking HBO off its perch with quality TV!

Back In Black again
Wow - I've underestimated the Australian Consumer with music tastes.
AC/DC have created chart history by having 6 albums in the Top 50 ARIA Charts simultaneously... even before their new album "Black Ice" has been released yet.
The re-entries as follows:
#20 - T.N.T
#26 - The Razors Edge
#27 - Highway To Hell
#28 - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
#30 - Who Made Who
#45 - Stiff Upper Lip
I want to see any other Hip Hop / RnB / Pop artist do that.
Actually, I don't. It'll destroy the dream.

Have you ever visited a website that wasn't quite right?
Now that everything is DVD now, this classic piracy video warning is pretty much obsolete. A true Aussie icon.
Good ol' Steve Britton.
